A.I. Dubs Were never a good Idea.

On Sundauy December 01v 2025 I woke up and checked My phone ( my first mistake) and was greated by the fact that Amazon and Crunchyroll were hosting AI Dubbed versions of Banana Fish and I immediately posted this on Bluesky:

Hey @crunchyroll.com what on Haruhi’s earth are you doing?! AI DUBS?! REALLY?! This is a front to the very medium of animation itself. You should be ashamed of yourself’s. I hope you lose all the license bids you make for the next round and the ones you have pull out. #anime

Needless to say I wasn't alone in this reaction. but if I've learned anything from the internet it's to take a beat. all attention on some level is good attention after all. Nowca week and 3-5 recording attempts later is sorted out my feelings ansd to no ones surprise I still hate it.
